MILLER, Allen Trethewey  
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 5 August 2026, after a short illness, 
aged 87 years.  Dearly loved husband of Noeline.  Much loved father, 
step-father and father-in-law of Glenn and Sharon, Donna, Stephen and 
Marie,  Andrew and Donna, Jennifer and Chris, Julia and Mike, Julian and 
Anne, and Rebecca and Simon. A treasured grandfather to Michael, Carl, Nash, 
TK, Maia, Shaun and Andrea, and great-grandfather to Easton and Daelyn.  
He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart Foundation would be gratefully accepted. Messages to: the Miller family to P O Box 6035, Ashburton 7742. A service to celebrate Allen’s life will be held at Memory Funerals, 22 Moore Street, Ashburton on Tuesday,  11 August at 1.00pm, followed by light refreshments.
